The price of celebrity

Well, local advertisement, anyway. My picture and name were used in a print ad for my company, which has been re-run several times in the local paper. (whee). So today I get a call from a sweet little old lady asking me all kinds of questions about our products, etc. that I just don't have answers for. And I could refer her to the right department and the right people, but I can't do that because she has somehow made a connection to me and it would be Not Good to bump her over to someone who might not be as willing to listen and help. So I will get her answers, and call her tomorrow, and hopefully that will be that.

I'm too dang nice, is what.

Moral of the story: don't get your picture in the paper. People expect you to be nice.
