And so far, it's been interesting. Last night we had the Thunderstorm of the Apocalpyse (rain, hail, wind, lightning, thunder to shake the house), which blew out the transformer for our section of the park. So from 5 p.m. onward we had no hydro, which made for a quiet evening. 1 a.m., Peter's alarm goes off. 1:30, the Hydro trucks roll in to fix the transformer. 2:30, the phone rings - one of Peter's co-workers (who apparently forgot the cellphone number). 3:30 the power comes back on, which freaks out the cats. 5:00 my alarm goes off.
Yeah, I'm feeling every one of my 37 years this morning. Thank heavens for Tim Horton's!
