A battery, a battery - my stash for a battery!

Ok, well not quite. :) But I did finish the Enormous Sock for Peter and had him all posed up in it, and the batteries crapped out on my camera. Boo! So no picture for tonight. But it does fit beautifully.

I'm also thisclose to finished on Peter's sweater - need to pick up 50 stitches (eek, I don't like picking up stitches) and do something around the zip-neck, then sew up all the seams and find a zipper to fit it. All the actual knitting is done except that bit at the neck. It does look GORGEOUS, I must say! Again, no picture - yet. There will be a triumphant portrait of my honey in his sweater as soon as possible, I promise!

With the leftover from the Enormous Sock, I started an iPod sock for Peter - he got a new Nano and doesn't want to scratch it up. :)

Slow progress on Mom's first sock but with the sweater done it'll move along faster. I've rented a trilogy of Bollywood films for evening viewing this week, that should make some inches happen.

In other news (wedding news!) we have:

1. A venue
2. Food selected
3. An officiant (who is totally into the hockey theme)
4. Invitations (they will be shipping tomorrow - woohoo!)
5. The band. Have I mentioned how much I love our band? For interest, it's The Crowd. They are amazing, wonderful, funky and truly awesome people. And talented! Holy crap, there's been more talent in this band (past lineups and present) than in every "Idol" winner ALL PUT TOGETHER - and then some! The Crowd rules. If you ever get a chance to see them, do so.
6. Little favour boxes - translucent blue plastic mini-takeout boxes which we will fill with Hershey Kisses. Mmm. Kisses.
7. Less than 2 months to go. Yikes.
