I'd have the blues but this project is purple, so - !
Finished my term paper last night so as a RE-ward[tm Simpsons "Diabetty"], I cast on for my Wednesday's Cardigan. Got the cuff done, nice loose kind of offset rib. Started up the sleeve this evening, but the increases are misbehaving and I had to frog back to zero twice. *sigh* I've put out a call for help on KnitTalk, hoping someone can figure out why I can't seem to increase 'in pattern.'
Meanwhile, today was a "come out even" day at work. Morning was absolute idiocy and crap, afternoon was sunshine and driving and a really cool corporate event. Put me in a better frame of mind for dealing with all the stuff I need to for the rest of this week.
And, for just a touch of weirdness in the day, I stopped to get myself a nice hot drink (did I mention it was -42 celsius windchill today? brr!) this afternoon whilst out and about. The coffeeshop cashier guy was the spitting image of Dugmor. Which I told him. He had no idea who that was. So I explained. He had the good grace to blush at the same time ruminating on the possibilities that this resemblance might have. I found it entertaining.
A bit more progress on Peter's second sleeve as well tonight, that's coming along. AND, in wedding news, we've booked our officiant. Well, we booked our officiant service, who will in turn set us up with our actual officiant. Kind of a blind date thing but I'm optimistic - we do get to meet the person before the actual event, anyway! Oh, and our photographer (working for food only - whee!) is also a lock. Who says this wedding planning stuff is hard, eh?

-42 with the windchill??? Yikes. Won't mention the temps in Gibsons yesterday.
WTG on all that knitting :-) I'm doing well with stuff for our soon-to-be-born niece/nephew.
As for wedding plans, I remember ours went pretty smoothly too.
